i guess what makes my heart cringe is the loss of potential. such a beautiful woman fit to be a queen, honored by peoples from distant lands, covered in the glory of Gd. but she began to trust in her own beauty. She used all that the Lrd had given her to create a seductive room to prostitute herself. she used the jewels to create 'male images,' takes the oil and incense and dedicated it to the idols she made. took the children the Lrd had given her and sacrificed them... its so graphic about her lusts and how she seeks men and desires more and more sex and is never satisfied. she travels to different countries looking for more men to have sex with. always wanting more from men when the Lrd had already exalted her above most people. she was fit to be a queen!
the sadness of perfect beauty choosing to be a whore. but she's worse than a whore because she doesn't even want money!
I would like to know how you feel about the allegory of the woman in this passage.
