He woke up earlier than usual just as the sun was rising but kept his eyes closed so the fellow would not push for an early start. He liked taking his mornings slow not being rushed to get working so soon. The fellow on the other hand loved to get started as soon as everyone (everyone being our hero in case you forgot) was awake. oddly enough the fellow had never once woken him up to get started. this surprised him very much being as the fellow had an opinion (and wasn't afraid to share it) about everything.
some birds chirped as he laid there silently. it was a quiet morning. quiet... that didn't seem right. no snoring, no giggling or the sounds of a tape measure?
Time seemed to stop as he focused all his attention to his hearing. Could the fellow be gone? he didn't want to risk being spotted so he causally opened one eye. no round bald fellow. he stretched out his legs as he turned over and squinted for the for the fellow. No fellow there either... no way around it now, he had to getting up if he would ever know where the fellow was. Sitting up and looking around the only sign of the fellow was the patch of grass he had squished by his disproportionate body. even the onix pack was gone.
'hu'
He got up and kept on walking.
after he had walked for some distance a piece of trash blew into his face with an odd inscription.
"Do you see
My worth?
I have not
Been tossed
Aside only
To burn
Grow mold
And rot.
You see me
Now because
I was sent.
My purpose
Is even now
Being fulfilled."
